Saint Petersburg

The formerly-sleepy 'Burg has blossomed into a fast-moving, fast-growing metro hub, with more than two dozen craft breweries, food halls and activities new to the city.

Saint Petersburg takes up much of the southeastern half of Pinellas Peninsula and is the largest city. The population is just under 270,000 making it the 2nd largest city in Pinellas County. Saint Petersburg is home to more than 100 neighborhoods. Downtown includes residential and commercial skyscrapers, museums including The Salvador Dali Museum, the Florida International Museum, Modern Arts Center and the Florida Holocaust Museum, parks and art galleries. The Downtown has been rated among the best in the south. Downtown has several parks which are waterfront or lakefront. The Vinoy Park is a bayfront location, which holds many music festivals. For dining and nightlife there are many restaurants along Central Avenue and Beach Drive. Saint Petersburg is home to the Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Rays. North of Downtown is the Historic Old Northeast and Snell Isle which include many waterfront homes. Saint Petersburg is easily reached to commute from Interstate 275 to Tampa and the Sunshine Skyway Bridge for a commute to Bradenton.
